MSC Asia-Europe raises bunker surcharges

  • Shipping line Mediterranean Shipping Co. is introducing a $505-per-TEU bunker surcharge on shipments from Asia to Europe beginning Feb. 1.

    The surcharge applies on all shipments headed to Red Sea, Mediterranean, Black Sea, northern Africa, northern Europe, United Kingdom, Scandinavian and Baltic ports.
