Eagle Bulk Shipping vessel adds 27th
-
Eagle Bulk Shipping said that it has taken delivery of the 58,000-deadweight-ton Supramax dry bulk vessel Canary.
The vessel has entered into a 10-year time charter at rate of $18,850 per day through January 2015. Thereafter, the contract converts to a profit-sharing charter with a base rate of $18,000 per day, Eagle Bulk said.
“In aggregate, the Canary will contribute approximately $61 million in minimum contracted revenue,” the New York-based carrier added.
The Canary marks the 27th vessel to join the Eagle Bulk fleet.
