Transshipment of oil through the Russian port of Primorsk exports increased by 3.6 times to 3.9 million tonnes

  • Transshipment of Russian exports oil through the port of Primorsk has increased by 3.6 times compared with the same period of 2008 – up 3.9 million tons, the port official report reads.

    Growth of export oil transshipment had been earlier reported by PortNews agency at 1.5% – up to 68 million tons

    “Primorsky Commercial Port” – (Leningrad Region) is the Russia’s
    largest oil terminal, specializing in the export transshipment at sea
    tankers of crude oil flowing through pipelines. The terminal is the
    final link of the Baltic Pipeline System.
