Evergreen Line Northern Europe to the U.S. increases rates

Taiwanese container giant Evergreen Line has announced a rate restoration on its Northern Europe to USA trades in order to ‘bring freight rates back to sustainable and viable levels so that we can continue providing a comprehensive network and quality of liner services that our customers expect’.
The increases apply to all cargo and commodities, including reefers and special equipment.
Thus it will implement the following rate restoration programmes:
(a) Effective Date : July/01/2010
Quantum : To Atlantic Coasts, USD 350/20’, USD 450/40’ & HQ
(b) Effective Date : October/01/2010
Quantum : To Atlantic Coasts, USD 350/20’, USD 450/40’ & HQ
Rates changes announced in October 2009 and effective from April 1st
2010 (to Atlantic Coasts USD 350 /20’, USD 450/40’ & HQ) are still
