Seagull AS is pleased to announce that Hellespont Hammonia GmbH & Co. KG has chosen the new Seagull Training System for their fleet. Originating in 1946, they currently have under management a fleet of over 19 crude,
product – chemical carriers and platform supply vessels trading
worldwide, and also a new-ship building programme is in process.Hellespont’s vision has always been to be the carrier of choice of all petroleum and petrochemical companies worldwide.
Integrated in the Seagull Training System is the Training Administrator
and also training material to complete approved statutory onboard
courses. This is an extremely cost effective training concept, where
theoretical knowledge is covered by CBT programs, combined with
structured and practical on-the-job training.The “Knowledge Assessment of Seafarers (CES)”, which has been chosen
for three of Hellespont’s offices, consisting of a large database of
over five thousand questions which can be used to assess the background
knowledge of crew members (Deck, Engine, and General Services).The company’s aim is to operate the best tankers in the world, and set
the benchmarks of crew safety and well being; sensitivity to the
environmental footprint of the service provided to the world economy;
and the quality of service to their clients and their constituents.Hellespont Hammonia GmbH & Co. KG wishes to put the products and
services of Seagull AS in the disposal of its quality assurance
