Pertamina expect more than 10 percent of oil production increase in 2010

State oil and gas company PT Pertamina expects to boost oil production by 10.93 percent next year, president director Karen Agustiawan told lawmakers Thursday.
?”We expect that Pertamina oil production will increase from 174,000
bopd barrels of oil per day, which is the production target for 2009,
to 193,900 bopd in 2010,” Karen said.?She added that the Cepu block was expected to contribute significantly
to the oil production increase. “We expect that the Cepu block will
start its early production of 20,000 bopd by the beginning of 2010. Of
this production, Pertamina expect to get 9,000 bopd,” Karen said.?In operating the Cepu block, Pertamina cooperates with PT Mobil Cepu
Limited (MCL), a subsidiary of US energy giant Exxon Mobil. MCL is the

Given the high production rate achieved recently, PT Pertamina EP, a subsidiary of state oil and gas company PT Pertamina, expects to produce more than this year’s oil production target of 125,500 barrels oil per day (bopd).
