China Coal Energy coal output in October hiked 13%

China Coal Energy Co., Ltd. harvested a raw coal output of 9.32 million tons in October 2009, up 13% year on year; and a coal export volume of 9.4 million tons, increasing 33.8%, according to a latest data report released by the Chinese coal giant.
In the month, domestic coal sales volume of the company boosted 57.9%
year on year to 9.14 million tons, and coal export volume largely
declined 84.9% to 110,000 tons.In addition, the company’s raw
coal output for the first ten months climbed 10.5% to 92.37 million
tons. In detail, its self-produced raw coal output increased 10.6% to
85.09 million tons; and aggregated coke output hiked 10.3% to 3.65
million tons.From January to October, China Coal Energy sold
76.94 million tons coal totally, inching up 2.3%, and 72.41 million
tons of it was from the domestic market. Moreover, its steam coal sales
volume rose 18.8% to 70.42 million tons; and coke sales volume reduced
